Forget the likes of Tinder and Plenty Of Fish, there’s now a dating website to make your dreams of a Disney romance a reality (yes, really) – and you won’t even have to give up your voice to an evil sea witch.

The new dating website, called Mouse Mingle, connects Disney fans looking for love – with Mickey Mouse playing cupid.

The site works on a freemium model, yep, it’s free to sign up, but £8 a month to send private messages.

It took several years before he came back to the idea and started building the site.

“I want Mouse to be a place for people find someone who really shares their same passion, not just a list of interests.” Disney fans tend to be more dedicated to their hobbies than non-Disney fans.

Many visit the Parks multiple times a month, they travel across the Country to do Run Disney events and they’re often tagged as ‘The Disney person’ at their jobs because of their collections or knowledge of the brand.

In the mid-2000s, Dave was one of the Tour Guides at Disneyland who led the “Walk in Walt’s Footsteps tour” and later went on to be an engineer on the Disneyland Railroad, operating Walt’s locomotives.

Browsing the site is free, but to actually reach out to your Disney prince or princess, you do have to pay a .55 monthly fee.

Mouse Mingle is now working on a mobile app, and the LA Times reported that the founder of the site, Dave Tavres, quit his job to work on improving the site so more people could find their way to their own Disney-themed wedding.

Plus, he has a vested interest: Tavres designed the site to find a date himself, but is sadly still single.

The dating app was founded by Dave Tavres and helps Disney fans find love, friendship or park pals.
